- Jean Pogge is Executive Vice President of Consumer and Community Banking at ShoreBank.
Prior to joining ShoreBank, Jean was President of Woodstock Institute, a nationally recognized nonprofit that works to promote community reinvestment through policy development applied research and interactive program design. She also had an eight year career in management in the private sector before deciding to incorporate socially responsible investing into her business career.
Currently, Jean is an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She serves on the curriculum advisory committee and the faculty of the certificate in Nonprofit Management program.
Currently, Jean is Board member of the Social Venture Network and the Social Investment Forum. She also serves on the Executive Committee of Chicago United and the Finance and Investment Committee of the Chicago Foundation for Women. She is on the business advisory boards of First Affirmative Financial Network and B2P, a software development company.
Jean received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Barat College and a Masters in Urban Planning from the University of Illinois at Chicago and studied at Oxford University in England from 1970-1971.
